I'm just a regular gal who travels half the year and eats the fruit out of sangria before she finishes the wine. I'm hungry. Is that alright?

But here's a little more on how I started traveling!

    Visiting the Italy

LANGUAGE: The official language is Italian. Depending on where you visit, you'll find people who speak all kinds of languages... Spanish, variations of Chinese, French, Tagalog, and many others.

CURRENCY: The currency in the United States is the U.S. Dollar (USD).

CREDIT CARDS / ATMS: You can find secure and reliable ATMs in most urban and rural cities, in most shopping centers. Credit cards are generally accepted everywhere and cash is also a great form of payment. I've only encountered 2 stores that were "cashless" in the US.

PLUGS: The plugs in US are Type A and B. The standard voltage is 120V, and the standard frequency is 60Hz. I recommend having a Universal Power Adapter that'll work in almost any country you visit (this one has a surge protection too!).

VISAS: Citizens of certain countries may not need a visa to enter the US if they're stay under a certain amount of time, otherwise you will need to apply for a visa before you can enter the US. Check with your embassy to see if you can purchase one upon arrival or if you'll need to apply for a entrance visa ahead of time.

GETTING AROUND: Domestic flights, regional trains, and buses are easy ways to travel within the country. Most cities have public transportation you can navigate, if you choose not to rent a car. Sometimes a valid driver's license from your own country is acceptable, and some states require foreign nationals to have an International Driving Permit (IDP) to drive in the US. Check to motor vehicle department in the states you plan on driving in for full details.
